I'm still getting letters from a child I used to sponsor. His sponsorship was cancelled when his family moved.

Hello.  Last year, I was informed that one of my child sponsorships was cancelled because his family moved to a location that wasn't covered by Compassion.  I haven't been able to sponsor him for several months but I've still been getting letters from him; the most recent one being from last month.  Could you help me find out what is going on?  If he's still in the program I would be happy to sponsor him again.

Hi David! I would be happy to look into this further with you! Sadly, I was not able to locate your account with the email provided on this forum. Do you know your sponsor number or your child's number? We can also look it up by your child's full name if you have it. Thank you so much! We definitely want to get to the bottom of this!

Thank you so much for your reply! I am really sorry for the confusion. I was able to find Guivensley's letter which was dated December 23, 2019, but our system also shows that his family moved away from the Compassion center in June 2019. I have sent an inquiry to his Compassion center requesting more information about what happened. We also want to find out if he is still attending the program, so that you can sponsor him if possible. We should have a reply in about 30 days. At that time, we will follow up with you through email with the information we learned.
