Hello.  Sponsorship of my child began in September of 2015.  I joyfully received a letter from him in October of 2015 and sent a reply letter shortly thereafter.  Christmas and birthday gifts were sent.  I haven't received anything further and would appreciate your inquiry as to receipt of my letter and gifts and to his well being.  I do not see any letters waiting.  I saw in another post that a donor saw that letters were in route when she went to write a letter to her child.  I will continue to write my child and appreciate your help with an update on my sponsored child BR4070688.  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Linda! I'm so sorry that you haven't heard from Simao in a while. We are so grateful to you for sending him a gift for Christmas and for his birthday! Although children are not required to write thank you letters for Christmas gifts, I can definitely understand how eager you must be to know how his birthday went and how your gift blessed him! Sometimes, if a child went to visit family and missed letter writing day, this causes a delay in the letter but you certainly have the right to know how your gift was used and we want to make sure he's doing well. I sent an inquiry to our office in Brazil, this morning to check and ensure he's doing alright and to ask that he write you another letter and acknowledge the kind gift you sent to him! Thank you so much for continuing to write and for your patience as we work to get a letter written and sent to you.

Thank you so much Emily.  My request is totally about knowing that he is well and received his gifts.  Even though I would love getting letters from Simao, I understand he is young and I will continue my correspondence and pray that it is a blessing to him.  Thank you again for sending an inquiry!  Linda

Hi Linda! I wanted to let you know we've been in touch with the field office and a new letter is on its way! We're working on getting it translated for you but you'll get it soon. You've been so patient, thank you!
