Hi Keith! Yes, it is possible to give a one-time gift for the whole year through a donor advised fund. Please email sdpincomingrequests@compassion.com and request organization verification. Also, it would be helpful to include the name ofyour investmentcompany orfoundation and your sponsor number. Thank you so much for your partnership!

I want to use my donor advised fund to sponsor a child. Do I have to sign up via credit card first?

Hi Kim! I would recommend going ahead and selecting a child. Regrettably, if you want to sign up online, you will need to make the first donation via a credit or debit card. Otherwise, if you have preferences on the child, I could select one for you and add them to your account without the first payment so that you could just apply the donor advised fund donation. Either way, you will want to get your sponsor number along with  the name of your investment company or foundation and email them to sdpincomingrequests@compassion.com so that we can be watching for your donation and apply it correctly.
