Hi there, I have of course read horror stories about sponsor kids being fake and etc. So I need to ask ha.

I have only one picture of Elorm and in the few letters that I have been sent there are pictures on the side in the template and hard to tell but really does not look the same, are they generic photos or....?

Also, I have sent a package with stickers and card and paper things for his birthday last year and never heard anything, additionally I sent birthday gift money, christmas gift money, and a family gift and have not heard anything of those, nor received photos of them. This causes me concern.

Any updates or thoughts here?

Thank you.

The pictures on the side of paper templates are generic.  You will get a photo update of your child every 24 months or so.  You also get photos for gifts over $60 (Though you should receive a thank you regardless).  I have never had a child mention stickers or a bookmark sent with a regular letter  (even with another organization where I get pictures showing them with these items so know they definitely received them), but I have definitely had mentions of topics in the letters that I brought up. And it can take 6 months to receive thank yous for gifts -- but it eventually comes).

Thanks, can you just confirm that is all accurate? My gifts were all over the $60 threshold as well. Not sure if you can see my account?

Hello! Yes, everything Sarah said was accurate. I see that the thank-you letter (with photos attached) for the family and child gift you sent was delivered to you on November 1st, and the date written on the letter itself is October 20th. Did you receive that letter, or would you like us to resend it to you via email?

Hi again, and thank you.
The letter had 3 blank pages, same as in phone app, is that normal?

Also, was I supposed to receive the actual photos in mail as I have my setting to get a hardcopy as well.

Thanks.

3 pages blank out of how many? I recently got a 8 page letter with a photo and yes, 3 pages are blank. Probably because they scanned in 3 pages that were printed on one side to send.

Hi Ryan! It is common to have some blank pages, especially when a letter has photos attached. I just reviewed your letter again, and everything looks completely normal.

You do have your preferences set to receive the physical original document, but we stopped sending the original copies of letters a few months ago. If you would like, I can set your preferences to receive a copy of that letter with the photos attached!

Hi Ryan! I have confirmed that your letter preferences are now set to receive the physical copy of each of your child's letters, and I have resubmitted the most recent one to be sent to you physically!
