Our family is still rebuilding our life after 2017. We've experienced a rollover car accident (me), Hurricane Harvey where we lost our home and belongings and another car (all of us), and major depressive disorder (also me). Any direction would be helpful. Thank you.

Anna, I wish I could just give you a hug! I am so sorry that 2017 was full of such difficult, painful events and that you are still in the process of recovering! Compassion can often help sponsors for a short time who are in a financial bind with their sponsorship, and I would love to help you with that. Can you tell me your sponsor number so that I can find your account? Please know that I will be praying for you and for your family through this time!

I would recommend emailing socialmedia@compassion.com -- I've had very good luck getting things handled that way.

Melanie, I am so sorry that you are in need of canceling your sponsorship :(. Please let us know if there is anything Compassion could have done to serve you better. If this is due to financial concerns, Compassion would be able to cover your support for the months of February through April and reduce your sponsorship rate to $19 per month for May through September. Please let me know if this would help or if you still need to cancel.
