Hi I am wondering if compassion can contact the field office or contact anyone there to check and see if my sponsored child and his family are safe from the area of the landslide they had yesterday. Thank you . We are just worried , but praying !

I have 1 kid from Addis Ababa as well. Please tell me if Edlawit and her family is okay. My family and I are so worried. My daughter is having trouble sleeping because of it. Please contact me soon!

Please tell me if my little girl in Addis Abba is okay. I heard about the landslide and my whole family is so worried about her. Please keep us updated. We are praying not only for her family but for all the people affected by this. -Kami

Hi Lisa and Kami! We don't yet have any information regarding the landslide in Addis Abba, but rest assured that our staff mobilized to check on every church partner and child in the program who may have been affected. If we hear that children were impacted by the landslide, we will be in contact with the children's sponsors as soon as the information is available. Thank you so much for praying!
