I am in graduate school overseas and was thinking of asking friends/family to send money to my Compassions kids' families instead of to me for Christmas.  Is there a way for them to give directly to the Compassion families of kids that I support?

I realize that the deadline for Christmas gifts was October 31, and I realize that the additional funds will not arrive on time for Christmas, but I would still like for my families to receive something additional around this time of year.  As I am in grad school, I don't have discretionary income, so I'm trying to find an innovative way to make this happen.

Helen, yes, there is a way to have your friends and family donate towards your Compassion children for Christmas. That is so sweet and selfless of you to desire to help your children and their families instead of receiving Christmas gifts for yourself. Thank you for your kind heart! Also, how cool that you get to study abroad for grad school. Where are you studying? Please have your friends and family either call 800-336-7676 or send a check to Compassion International, Colorado Springs, CO 80997 to donate and write the child numbers and the designation (for a Christmas gift, family gift, or monthly support) in the memo line. We will receipt each of your friends/family individually and the donations will go towards your children.
