I would like to send my children some postcards that have pictures of things from around my town, but I was wondering if I need to make sure they don't say my city's name or show anything that would identify it? I read somewhere at some point that Compassion wants to protect the privacy of sponsors so it's best to not put specific details about location. Is that true?

Yes you can send postcards that show your city. I have said "this is near my home" when sending postcards of my city to my kids. I bet your kids would love to see the area that you live in!
