I hand write letters to my children when I want to send extras to them, so, yes, you can certainly write a letter to your child by hand. Just be sure to include your child's name and child number, and your sponsor number on the letter. The address to send the letter to is:
ATTN: Child Correspondence Dept.
Compassion International
Colorado Springs, CO 80997-0004

If you've had a letter from your child recently, they will have included stationary for you to write on, and an envelope to send the letter to them in. Alternatively, you can use any plain paper or stationary you have, or, you can download stationary here: http://www.compassion.com/multimedia/letter-writing-stationary.pdf

Hope that helps!

YES! Please feel free to send loving, hand-written letters to your sponsored child. The address above works great! :)
