I love writing my sponsor child and just wondered how often people usually write to their sponsor child.

Yes, you can only write to your child once every 24 hours online. I am soooo happy that you enjoy writing to your sponsored child. I too love writing my kiddos! I write my kids twice a month. However, I know sponsors who write anywhere from once every week or two months (she has over 50 sponsored/correspondent children though). Try to be as consistent in letter writing as possible. As you can imagine, if a child get say 4 letters one month, and none for the next two months, they might begin to wonder what they did that made you unhappy with them. Your child will very very much enjoy reading your letters! They are such an encouragement :)

I have found that once a month on-line letterand the occassional birthday and holiday cards works fine for me. It is important for there to be a consistent flow of correspondence to your child(ren).
