Why did my sponsorship change from Abdoul Moumini Sawadago to Junior Aldair? Is it because my payment didn't go through?

Good morning Nathan, 
I am so sorry to let you know that Abdoul did finish his time with Compassion. I see that sadly he and/or his family refused to comply with Compassion guidelines. When we have issues like this, Compassion will do all they can to work with the family to make changes so that they may stay in the program. However, sadly there are times like these when our efforts do not make a difference and they are still unwilling to follow our guidelines. I am so very sorry. I know it is very hard to lose a child no matter how long you have been with them. 
Furthermore, anytime we do have a child leave the program, we do place another child on hold for our supporter to consider. We do send out notification of your child leaving the program along with a communication that we have placed this new child on hold for you. This notification also lets you know that for your convenience that if you would like to go on to sponsor this new child, you do not need to do anything, whereas if you would like to take a break from sponsorship or choose your own child you will need to notify us. If we do not hear back from you within 5 weeks, we do add this new child to your account. This is what happened in this case. I am so sorry that it seems you never received this notification. 
Please let us know going forward if you would like to continue to support this new child, Junior. We do apologize again for the confusion!
