I received my welcome packet with the template for my first letter to my child. Enclosed in the packet, there was an envelope. Is that the envelope that I use to send my inclosed template letter? If so, what information do I need to write on it since it doesn't say who my child is or any of that important information.

The template should have that info on it. The envelope will be opened in Colorado and your letter will be scanned into the system. It's the only thing that needs your child's info on it.

What do I need to write on the envelope? Do I put my name and return address?

The envelope should have Compassion's info on it, so yes a return address would be the only thing you need to put on it.

Hi Ashlee! Welcome to Compassion! Thank you so much for choosing to sponsor Elizabeth from Ghana. If you send back the provided stationery, you do not have to write your sponsor number or child's number on the stationery. The provided envelope included in your welcome packet requires postage, there should also be a space on the top left corner for your name and address. You may also write to Elizabeth online or by using our free mobile app. I show that you have already have a username. If you need me to send it to you and reset your password, let me know. I would be happy to email it to you. Also, if you write a letter online or through the app, you can upload photos right in to the letter. I find the mobile app to be very useful for this reason. I know however you choose to write to Elizabeth, that she will be grateful to know you are thinking of her.
