Lack of letters. Letter caught in translation cycle

Why has it been so many months since I have gotten a letter???  I was getting them regularly but then all of a sudden they stopped.  Then this letter has been sitting there since March.  

Hi Pamela! Actually, that letter you should have just received at the end of last week (online) was still within the normal timeframe of receiving a reply letter from your child. After she wrote in November, you were able to write back in December. Holidays do often cause letters to take more time to be processed and delivered to the children and to sponsors because our offices do close for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. She most likely received that letter at the beginning of January. Once a child receives a letter, they have 60 days to write a reply and then send it to the country office to be processed. From what I was seeing in your letter history, there has always been a few months between her letters, and I think the holidays did also cause the delay to be a little longer than you've normally seen. You've done an amazing job writing back and forth with her, and the letters should continue to arrive regularly if you keep writing to her regularly as well :).
