I sent a letter online to my child how do I know if it went through?  My child ID is HO037400331.  I am now sending a letter along with some coloring pages and stickers and also enclosing a check for Christmas gift to my child.  Will getting in the mail to Compassion tomorrow be enough time for my child to receive my letter and the gift that my money will buy?

You should receive a email from compassion, thanking you and confirming your letter. It took my a few weeks to get a reply from my sponsors family acknowledging the letter.
I donated the Christmas gift on line for my child.

My letters shows up online in conversations and I can see the one my child sent to me on there as well.  I just want to be sure that my letter was received since I sent it online.  I checked and don't show I ever got an email confirmation.  My child is only 6 so I don't expect to get a whole lot of letters right now from her.

Did you send it as a Child gift or a Christmas Gift.  If it is the Christmas Gift the money is pooled so that all kids in the program, including unsponsored kids and kids whose sponsors don't send the money, get a gift at Christmas.  Therefore even if it doesn't arrive on time, your child will get a Christmas gift from the pool fund and told it's from you and your money would just go to next years fund.
If you sent an individual gift it's not guaranteed to reach the child by Christmas at this time but I'd say there's probably a good chance of it and even if it arrives a little late your child will still be very happy to receive anything you have sent!

We are sending as a gift for her and sending money for a family gift as well.  We didn't send her a birthday gift so would like to make sure she has this gift from us for Christmas.  Should I specify something on the memo line.  We have only been sponsoring since May and this would be our first Christmas with the program.

Hi Jennifer! I do actually see that your letter did make it through processing and has been printed out and placed in the mail slot for her project. A staff member from her project has probably already picked up the letter along with all the others for the month and delivered them to the kiddos :). When you are on your online account, you can actually see where your letters are in process. Click on "Write My Child" and then "My Letters". Then click on the conversations under your child. If the letter bars are light blue, that means they have finished processing, while grey bars indicate they are still in process :).

Teresa answered your question about the Christmas gifts wonderfully! If you want these gifts to go to her specifically and not be placed in the Christmas fund, you will need to make sure you indicate them as a child gift and family gift instead of Christmas. Since they should arrive around Christmas, they will be able to figure out that you intended the gifts to be for that :).

Can you please verify that my letters to Yoshefa IO072800215 have been going through? At least the ones from February to now? I just received a letter from her and she said it’s been a long time since I’ve written and I must be busy with work. I write at least once a month to all of my kids. I surely don’t want her or any of my kids to think I don’t care enough to write anymore.

Hi Chantel!

I do see that all the letters that you have sent have been successfully going to your child, Sefa. I do see that you write once a month, which is amazing! Thank you so much for that! :) Again, each letter has been stated in our system that Sefa should receive these letters, so that is a little concerning, and I'm glad you brought this to our attention. I did go ahead and send an inquiry over to the field office staff of Indonesia about this to ask if she has been receiving these letters and what she meant by saying this. Once we hear back from the field office staff, we will let you know as quickly as we can. If you have any further questions, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you! :)
