Letter from Tutor

Once in awhile I've received a letter that was suddenly quite blank with a scrawled note that my child couldn't write this time around as they were away on holiday, writing exams, or sick.  It doesn't happen often.

Today to my surprise I got one of these letters from the tutor of a child on vacation, but to my surprise, this tutor took the time to fill an entire long page!  It wasn't a quick note, she wrote me a full out letter about my child and promised that the child would write about her vacation when she returned.  She ended the letter by saying she knows the child would want to send me a big hug.  It was VERY sweet of her to take the time to write me a full letter when my child couldn't!!!!!  Very pleased!!!

(This is an older child (almost 11) who has been writing on her own for 2 years now)

I had a similar situation with my correspondent in Thailand in the letter I got this morning. There has been some relocation and it is harder for him to get to the project all the time. Wonderful letter written by the tutor and two pictures of my boy and his grandma! This is the second time that project has surprised me with extra photos! I am so pleased as well! God bless!
