Letter Mix Ups

I recently sent letters to all my sponsor children, and they are all mixed up online.

1. I sent one letter each to Joana (GH042800021) and Isabella (GH024100171). The letters are dated December 30, 2017. The letters were clearly labeled with the girl’s names and ID numbers. However, online in “My Letters” both letters were sent to Isabella. They appear in Isabella’s conversations dated 1/08/2018.

2. I wrote two letters to Eugenia (GH041600560). One letter was dated December 15, 2017 and the other December 31, 2017. I also included a birthday card for her upcoming birthday. (The card was not musical or a pop-up card.) The letter from December 15 and the birthday card are missing from Eugenia’s letters, while the letter from December 31 is online.

3. The letter that I sent to Naa (GH040300354) dated December 30, 2017 was a 2-page letter. The pages were clearly labeled with ‘page 1’ and ‘page 2’, along with Naa’s information. Only page 1 of the letter was scanned in on 1/12/2018. The second page is missing. [Edit: I found Eugenia’s missing birthday card in place of page 2 of Naa’s letter.]

4. I have sent five letters to my newest child Debora (GH092200468). The letters dated September 16, 2017 and October 7, 2017 don’t appear online. However, letters written in November and December are. Also, the letter dated November 4, 2017 was a 3-page letter. The pages were clearly labeled. Only page 1 of the letter was scanned in on 1/12/2018. Pages 2 and 3 of the letter are missing.

Can these errors and mix-ups be fixed? I enjoy writing the girls each month, and I want the them to receive the correct letters. I also want them to have completed letters. My sponsor number is 02433882. Thank you!

Hi Ashley,

I am so sorry to see that you have multiple issues with your letters! :(

1. This was likely just a little mistake while scanning. I did send a notice to the country office to have them fix these two letters. :)

2. I am taking a look into this issue, however I do have a couple questions. First of all, with the letter dated December 15th, did you send any items that would be sent physically such as stickers or a bookmark? Also, is this the letter you sent your card along with? And was there writing in your card?

3. I am seeing both the 2 pages of your letter and a card on this letter. You may not be able to see the full letter while it is in translation, but this one should be all fine once it is done with translation. Yay! :)

4. This is very odd to me. It looks like 3 of your letter are actually combined into one letter. The dates are October 7th 2017, September 16th 2017, and August 26th 2017. Secondly, the letter dated November 4th is having the same issue as above. I cam see all three pages of this letter, you just will not be able to see all three until the letter is finished with translation.

Again, I am so sorry for the inconvenience with these letters! However, it looks like they can all be fixed! :) I pray that going forward things are a bit smoother for you!

Concerning Eugenia’s letters...I didn’t send anything that would be sent physically with the December 15 letter. That letter contained all paper items. I actually sent the birthday card, stickers and a bookmark with the letter dated December 31. Also, there is writing in the card and a label on the back with Eugenia’s information. I actually see the birthday card online now, however it appears to have been sent to Naa. Eugenia’s card shows up in Naa’s conversations.

Hi Ashley,
Again I am so sorry for these issues! I see there is a card uploaded onto the latest letter to Naa. This is the letter dated 12-30-2017 uploaded on 1-12-18 and it is still in the midst of translation. Is this correct card that should have been sent to Maa (Eugenia)? I am wondering if they made this accident by the similarities in their names and countries. After you confirm this is the correct card, I will ask that it be sent to the correct kiddo. Also, I am so sorry as it looks like your December 15th letter was scanned in along with the letter dated 12-31-17. Again, I am not sure why this is happening. However, I am thankful to see that all of your letters are indeed there! :) I am praying they just had a little confusion before but going forward that this won't continue to happen!

Hi Ashley,
Thank you so much for confirming. I have just sent a message to our field office to see what they can do about moving that letter to the correct account for Maa and removing that from Naa's account. Thank you so much for your patience as we get this fixed. Issues like this can take up to 45 days to be resolved.
