I heard that in Canada there is a tab you can click on for each child to see if you have letters on the way? is this true, and if so, why don't they have that for America?

Yes it is true, I'm in Canada.  Our accounts also have MUCH more information about our sponsored children on them.  (I have accounts with both countries since I have some US Correspondents and I would love to see the same info on my US account for those kids.)
Also in Canada we have full size versions of all the photos of our kids, so we don't have to ask for them, and it's not just one previous photo, it's every photo since they've been enrollled.  But I think the reason we can't get that on our USA accounts is because there are so many more children and sponsors in the USA, so it would take up a LOT of room on their servers.  Maybe it's something like that about the letters/info as well?

Hi Anna and Teresa! Our website design and marketing materials are run by each individual partner country (UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, etc.). All of our countries use the same database of information internally and our websites pull from this database. We want what is provided on the website to be relevant - to include information that US sponsors want to know - but at the same time to be simple and intuitively organized  so that it is easy to use. I have brought up your concerns with our web team as they are currently working on updating our website so you may see these features real soon.

That sounds great Susan :) One of the things I do like is that it lets us know if siblings are sisters or brothers and if any are registered, their names and your child's best subject in school.  Also there's a tab with info about how far the nearest health centre is to their house etc.  and whether or not the church has phone/electricity etc.  (A couple screenshots from mine)
