Hi, when I was first setting up the letter preference, I stated that I want to get the original letter in French without the need for it to be translated. However, my child's letters are not in French (I think they are in Creole) and I have no idea what my child is writing me about. I could not find a way on the website to change the setting, so I will appreciate it if Compassion can start translating the letters for me. Thank you!

HJ, I think there is some confusion regarding the letters that you are going to receive from your child. Wadley writes in Creole, not French. When you selected the original letter preference, that simply means that you are going to receive the original letter as it was written without the translation. The translation itself is online in your My Account as Compassion does still translate every letter. That being said, because you sponsor through the USA, the translations will be in English. We cannot translate the letters into French for you as all the letters through the USA are in English.
