How long does it take for letter translation? It shows a letter submission on 5/14 from my child. I am looking forward to hearing from her. I write her often and only received the introduction letter in December. I’ve been sponsoring 6 months.

I just got a letter today from my girl in Rwanda that has been in process since May 1st. (Last summer I had a letter take 6 weeks to get through translation so I'll take 20 days!) I've had other letters appear before they even showed up as "coming' on my account (not from Rwanda though)

Hi DaMika! Regrettably, there's not a specific timeline we can give for a letter translation. The time it takes for a letter to be translated depends on how many letters the National Office has to translate before they get to your letter. It should take less than 3 months, but that's a pretty broad timelines. I'm so sorry I can't give you a more specific answer :( Thank you so much for your desire to communicate with your sponsored kiddo, and I hope that letter gets translated for you soon!
