Hi, I was wondering how long it usually takes for a letter to be translated? I have been waiting for about a month already. My sponsored child's birthday is coming up and I would like to send her a letter but I would like to read her last letter before I do so. Thank you!

Hi Emily! Thank you for reaching out to us! Regrettably, there's no sure timeline we can give for how long it takes for a letter to get translated. It generally takes 6 - 8 weeks, and should take less than three months. The time a letter takes to get translated depends on how many letters there are to translate at our National Offices, and that fluctuates. I wish I could give you a sure answer on this; I apologize! Thank you so much for writing to your child, though. Your letters mean more than you know!
