My daughter wrote to our sponsored child in India through Compassion. She made a braided bracelet for her as a gift. Several months later, we received a personal letter, stamped from India, from another girl around the same age thanking my daughter for this bracelet and gave us her email address and personal mail address. I am wondering how our letter came to her directly. I tried calling your # but it says it is no longer working. Thank you for responding in advance.

My apologies. I am now thinking that this letter could've been a response from us giving through the Samaritan's Purse. I can now see that this could be a possibility. We have a sponsored child in India but our shoebox could've been sent to India as well with our returned address on the envelope inside the shoebox. Sorry for this inconvenience. Thank you.

Oh how exciting, Jeanie! I always hope to get a letter back from an OCC box :) I hope you have a nice time chatting with her!
