I write most of my letters to my sponsor kids online.Would it be possible to for you to forward the letters to the country offices by email and they print the letters, translate them and send them on to the Compassion projects. This would save money on international postage.

Hi William! We are currently working to update our software and processes. A part of this project includes a plan to send letters electronically, as you have suggested. You'll see faster and more efficiently processed letters in the next few years. Stay tuned!

Jeff,  you're right that it has been a long time that we have been working on updating our software and processes. Regrettably, there is a lot that goes into the ministry of Compassion as a whole and much that needs updating. It may seem like nothing has happened on the outside, but there have been a lot of changes behind the scenes internally at Compassion lately. We have just deployed our first updates to our field offices that includes the potential for faster, easier, and greater quantity and quality of child update information. In addition, we have scheduled some other significant updates over the next year. For example, you will begin to see better quality and faster communication to you as a supporter by fall 2016. This will include faster letters. We will wrap up these updates at the end of 2016.

Hi all!

I have an exciting update to share with you! This idea will be implemented very soon!

Beginning April 11, 2016, all original letters between sponsors and children will be digitally scanned, translated and emailed. Children will receive high quality prints of your letters. You will receive letters by email and, if you choose, a scanned printout by postal mail. As soon as your child's letters are scanned and translated at the office in their country, they will be immediately available for you in your MyAccount.
