Letters from child

I’m sure the ladies at compassion will respond, but yes that is normal. I can take up to 6 months to get your first letter! My first letter took 6 months and as we developed a relationship the started coming about every 2-3 months! I know it is hard to be patient, but if you don’t have something in july, then they can look into it for you!

Hi Natasha! Thank you so much for taking the opportunity to send your child several letters in the last month! I know how much they will mean to Javier as he receives them! Yes, each one of your letters has been through processing and has been printed out at our country office in Ecuador and placed in his project's mail slot for them to pick up when they visit the office. The staff from projects generally visit the country office about once a month, so he should have received at least a few of your letters already :). It can take up to four months to receive the first letter from your child. I know the wait for that first letter can be quite difficult, but please let us know if you haven't received one by June 2. If you still haven't received one by that time, we can send an inquiry to our Ecuador office to see what is causing the letter to be held up. I am sure you will receive one before then though!
