Letters on my app from my child have an X on them. I’ve only been able to open one of the four letters. Do I need to wait for a physical letter from her?

Hi Linda! This just means they’re still in translation! Sometimes translation can take a while — especially with certain countries or centers in more remote areas. If you’ve been waiting four months from a sponsored child or six months from a correspondent child, you can make an inquiry (somebody please correct me if I’m wrong on the time frame). Meanwhile I just advise you to keep writing — they’ll go through eventually and your sponsored child will be so happy to receive them and write back to you. :)

Hi Linda! That's a great question. Kristin's answer is correct - an X on your child's letter simply means it's still in translation. If you notice that there has been a letter in translation for three months, please let us know and we can send an inquiry for you!
