Is there a chance I would get the actual papers my sponsored kid? I would love to have them as a sentimental value.

You can go to your account and change the setting on letter preference it has 3 options I think email original letter and a printed copy you will always get one via the compassion site which is translated for you, but they can also mail you the original it just takes a while I have this I hope this helps you.

Hello Jamaecah! I do see that your letter preference is currently set to receiving an email copy of the letter and the original letter from your child. It does take several months for us to receive the physical letters in our USA office after they have been scanned into the system in Indonesia. You should see physical letters reach you by mail several months after they have been uploaded to your online account.
