I was just wondering if you could tell me how many letters I have in translation. I was told over a month ago that I had the first one in translation and still haven't received it yet. Just curious if there are any more I can look forward to whenever they get here

Hi Abby! I'm so sorry that it is taking longer than normal to receive your letter from Junior :(. I still see that we are working on getting his first letter to you, but I have sent an inquiry to the field office in Haiti now. The field staff will ensure that Junior is doing well, and they will make sure to speed up the delivery of this letter. It will take 6-8 weeks to receive a response, and we will be in contact with you as soon as we hear back. Thank you so much for the loving letters you have sent to Junior so far :). I'm sure he is so excited to have such a wonderful sponsor!

Hi Abby! We did hear back from them and emailed you with the letter about a month ago. I am so sorry if you didn't receive it! The letter is actually available in your online account, and I am resubmitting the letter to be printed and mailed to you as well. You should receive it in the next two weeks!

Are you talking about the generic letter or a different one? We got the generic one. Are there any other letters coming from him? I thought we would have received one besides the generic one by now since it has been 8 months and we have sent a birthday gift and Christmas gift. I may just have been misunderstanding, I'm not sure.

Abby, I am so sorry for the confusion. When we sent the inquiry it was for lack of correspondence and not having received the first letter. The letter Sarah had re-printed was the letter that came out of this inquiry. However, if you have not heard about the gifts you sent, we have to send a separate inquiry. Because Christmas Gifts are lumped together and distributed equally among all of our children so that no child is left out, the children are not required to send a thank you letter for these gifts. For gifts under $20, the thank you letter is supposed to be written on the next letter writing day,  but it should have come by now. I sent an inquiry today to check on this gift that you sent in June 2016.

Hello I am also curious if we have any letters in the works. We will be canceling our sponsorship in July if coospondence doesn't become more regular.

Rebecca, I am so sorry to hear that you have been dissatisfied with the frequency that Kokou Marc writes to you so far. It looks like little Kokou Marc has just sent you a letter on the 18th. I trust you have received this letter. If not, please let me know and I'll email it to you. He is also working on another letter for you right now. Before the most recent letter, he wrote to you in October. I do realize that July to October is a long time to wait for the first letter and I am so sorry for that. It takes some time for the children to catch up and for the letters to gain some regularity. I trust that the letters will continue to arrive and that a relationship will develop over the coming months.

Hi Jenny! The last letter I see from Raymond was sent to you on 9/29 and the last letter from Wogayehu was on 9/9. Did you receive those letters? I'm not yet seeing letters from Yohanis or Matampash. From which kiddos were you expecting letters?

Raymond's letter was 9/13. I heard if sponsors write often they get a letter every 2 months.

I was told that I have 1 reply letter from Yohanis, 2 letters each from Raymond and Wogayehu (1 reply letter and 1 thank you letter for the gift). Those are not coming..

Jenny, with the recent system issues we can't really guarantee that you'll get a letter every two months. That's a goal that we are now working toward. Besides one letter from Wogayehu that has been written and sent to the field office, the other letters from the rest of the children are in the process of being written. So, they are on the way but it will take time. I'm sorry about the confusion!

The last letter I received from Marlon in Nicaragua was written June 13th and received by me June 16th. I know there is at least one more that has been in translation for several months. Is it time to do an inquiry about this new letter(s). Thanks for your hard work.

Linda, I am so sorry that it's been so long since you have heard from Marlon :(. There are a few letters in our system that are being processed and should be on your account soon. I know it's hard to wait, but hang in there a little longer and you will see those letters!
