Hi, I started sponsoring a child in April and have received one introduction letter from the child right after. Just checking to see when I might receive another letter. Thank you!

Hi there! At a minimum you should receive a letter every 6 months. If you write regularly (like once a month) you will receive up to 6 letters a year! Hope that helps!

Hi Stacey! Welcome to the Compassion family :). Thank you so much for choosing to impact the life of a child this way! I am so happy to hear that you have already received your first letter from your child. Just as Kristen so kindly mentioned, children are required to write at least 2 times per year. You are welcome to write as often as you would like however. In addition to the two required letters, children will also respond directly to sponsor letters every sixty days. So the more often you write, the more you can expect to recieve a letter from your kiddo. We call this reciprocal letter writing and believe it creates more meaningful correspondence between you and your child as you respond to each other's letters :). Happy writing and let me know if I can answer any other questions for you!
