Hi, I was looking for an old post/question on here about which countries have children waiting longest for sponsorship (percentages sponsored in each country vs. amount children available for sponsorship) AND which kids seem to wait longest to get sponsored or something like that.  It got a very good answer w/numbers sponsored in each compassion country and more info. too.
I cannot remember if it was a question I asked myself or was by someone else.  Anyway, I cannot find it anywhere.  Is there any way to get a link to that old post/question?  I've tried searching many combinations of search words and am not getting anywhere w/that.  Are old posts searchable for only a certain time?  Thank you!

Hi Joseph!  I actually did find the post that you were talking about, but it has been archived and is no longer available for viewing. Those numbers have absolutely changed since then, so I am here to give you the most current information I have :). The number of children waiting for a sponsor changes daily. We do everything we can to find loving sponsors as fast as possible for each child. As you can imagine, with several events and methods of finding sponsors, there is a lot that goes into the statistics. Because of this, we are unable to provide an accurate 'real time' percentage of unsponsored children in each country. However, I can tell you that our overall percentage of unsponsored children averages to about 3.57% overall. Sri Lanka and Thailand currently have the lowest percentage of unsponsored children at 1.29% and 1.60%. Burkina Faso and Ethiopia have the highest percentage of unsponsored children at 5.30% and 5.73%.

Again, please keep in mind that this data is not completely current. I hope this information is helpful for you! Please let me know if you have further questions :).
