I have 2 kids in Rwanda that I want to go see. When you do the tour and they bring both your kids to meet you at same time, is it not has special to them to see another child there or does that really not matter?

Given the number of sponsors that actually go meet their kids I'm sure they will just be excited to see and meet you.

However my Mom and I did go on an individual tour so that we could see each of our kids for their own day... and because not all our kids are in the same country so we didn't have enough vacation time to spend a week in each country. So if it was something you were really concerned about you could do an individual visit, however you'd have to set up all the travel stuff yourself.

Another option is if someone else in your family wanted to go with you? You guys could try to give each kid some individual attention and then swap. :)

I participated in a sponsor tour where I met both of my girls (11 and 16) and wondered the same thing.  I was with both of them the whole time, but still had special moments with each.  There were some awkward things (going back and forth between them at the moment we all met), but in other ways it was really good - they were comfortable with each other and could "confer", help each other answer questions, etc.  It was a wonderful day!

My husband and I went to see our two little girls in Peru back in May. I was actually nervous about the same exact thing, but it actually worked out great! We each got to spend time with them, and they both got along well together. I would not worry about it too much because it will be such a blessing for you and them to see each other face to face. My day spent with my two sweet little girls was one of the best days I have ever had! Enjoy meeting your kids!
