Hi! I am just starting to write Christmas letters to prepare for their Christmas season of sending my children activities. I try to be very careful about certain things that I talk about, and keep most things biblically centered and Christ centered. I don't want to dwell on Santa Claus, but I wanted to check and see if there is any kind of restriction on mentioning non biblical aspects of Christmas, such a Santa Claus?

Hi Dana! Thank you for your thoughtfulness in reaching out about this. :) Mentioning Santa Clause in your letters is totally fine. In fact, many of our student centers have "Santa" come visit them during their center Christmas party. Bringing up Santa Clause as a cultural story and tradition can be a great segue to ask your sponsored children about their traditions, too!
