Moved, don't know my sponsor number, and my email is invalid. HELP!

i recently moved and I can't find my sponsor number anywhere. My email address I was using when I signed up is no longer valid as I closed it out so I can't get the information through my email. What can I do?

I'm sure someone from CI will be able to help you out although before they are able to respond you could check the top of a letter from your child to get your child number. However, if all your stuff is packed in boxes still, then it might be easier to wait until CI can either respond here or let you know if they need you to call or send them an email for them to rectify things. Well all my letters are packed away in storage and I have no way to get to them.

I am just another sponsor like you, so, unfortunately, I cannot get you into your account tonight.

I recommend emailing CI directly as you don't have to contact them during normal business hours there, but if you can call, then they should be able to sort it out while they are on the phone with you. In your email tell them all of your information that you know (i.e., old address, old email, child's name (as close as you can spell it), etc. for them to confirm it is really you) for a rep to look up your account and let you know how to get access to your online account again. I've typically gotten a reply within 1 business day when I've emailed although I know sometimes they get higher volumes that it takes 2-3 business days to get a reply.

This dynamic FAQ does get answers from CI reps (typically within 1 business day), but sometimes they need more information that they cannot ask for on a public forum like this one for privacy reasons, which is why I am suggesting to contact CI through a private communication method.

Hi Nessa, Compassion does not have business hours on the weekend but I'm sure they'll get back to you when they're back in the office. I've almost always heard from them within 2 business days, although they tend to be super busy at the end of April/beginning of May because of all the Compassion Sunday events going on.....I've waited a little longer when emailing around that time. I'd suggest if you want a faster answer next time you might try calling 800-336-7676. All of the reps are great to talk to, they are all super helpful!

Okay thank you I didn't realize that. I am hoping to hear from them soon as I need to make some changes ASAP. I tried calling first and they were so busy i was on hold for a really long time. I will try to call Monday morning

Hi Nessa - I was just checking into our email queue and I see that we responded to your email on May 1 at 7:43am. The email would have come from ciinfo@us.ci.org. You may need to check your junk mailbox or any spam filters that you have on your email box. The representative, Shannon, emailed your constituent number and username, and she reset you password as well so that you could access your account online. Regrettably, I cannot put that information online here, so if you did not receive that email, please call us at 800-336-7676.

I don't understand why it isn't showing up in my email. I looked everywhere. I even looked at the email I sent and it doesn't show that it was responded to. Is there any way I can get you to private message me my info if I give you my sponsor number?
