My account says that I am currently not sponsoring a child that I have been sponsoring the same one for years. Can you please explain this to me?

I am so sorry for the confusion on your sweet young man, Moses. I see that he is still active on your account, but the current account that he is on is under Mark. We switched him from an account in your name to this account in December 2015, so it has been quite some time. May I ask, is it possible you are signing in with the incorrect account? I also have a similar situation. My child I've sponsored for the past several months is no longer showing up in my account and it says I'm not sponsoring a child. Please advise.

Myli, I am so sorry for the confusion! We just received the information yesterday that Yada has actually left the program because her family has moved away. When this happens, Compassion does try to help the child enroll in a different project if one is available in the community he or she moves to, but Yada either moved to an area where we don't have projects at this time or the family moved suddenly without the project staff knowing so we weren't able to help set that opportunity up for her. Since this just happened yesterday, we haven't had the opportunity to get you this information yet. Usually we either send you a letter in the mail or give you a call to let you know. When a child leaves the program, we do typically send a packet to the sponsor with a new child to consider sponsoring. In your case, we will be sending you this information in the mail with a sweet little girl from Brazil named Ana Kelly. She is 5 years old and is precious! You absolutely have the option to sponsor her or not. She will not know that we have placed her up for sponsorship with you, but we will need to know within the next four weeks if you do not want to sponsor her. If we don't hear from you, she will stay on your account and be accepted as your new sponsored child. Let me know if you have any more questions! I know it's definitely heartbreaking to have a child leave the program unexpectedly!
