I have sent three letters to my sponsor child in the last six months and apparently she has not received any of them because she continues to say that she is waiting to hear from me. This breaks my heart. I want her to know I care for her, but she has not received any of my letters? Please help and provide answers! No child should think their sponsor doesn't care about them.

Jessica, when you go online, what is the status of the letters you have sent?

They are processed and appear to have been sent.

Unless it says "In process", she should have received the letters. She could have letters that she has yet to respond to, since there can be months of overlapping. When you first click on "write my child", if there are letters in transit, it will say so there. If you then click on "my letters", and click on your child, it will either say nothing, or as some of mine say now, either "In Progress" or "In Translation."

Jessica, one, I wouldn't think you'd have received a letter from her unless she'd received yours and two, just because she says she's waiting to hear from you doesn't necessarily mean she never has; foreigner's knowledge of English isn't as clear as ours quite often and that could mean she's looking forward to hearing from you again.
Blessings.

Hi Jessica! From the letters I saw from Kerlly, it does look like she is just excited to continue hearing from you. Also, Kerlly had probably only received your first letter by the time she wrote her third letter. It can take between a few weeks and two months for your letters to arrive in Kerlly's hands so she wouldn't have received the letter you wrote in the beginning of June by the time she wrote her letter later in the month. I can tell you that she has received your first letter and is probably has just received your second letter this month.
