If my child is too young to tell me about his home life/situation/needs, how can I find out more?

Sometimes parents/older siblings will write on a younger child's behalf.  Also, if you ask questions, the person at the center may be able to help the child answer them.  So ask your questions of your sponsored child even if you think they are too young.

My youngest sponsored child was 2 when I sponsored her and will be 4 in January. I still receive prayer requests, information about her siblings, etc.

Hi Janine and Sarah! Thanks so much, Sarah for your helpful input. What you said is spot-on. Often, younger children won't respond directly to questions or concerns, but if you ask maybe one or two questions per letter, the person writing on your child's behalf will be able to answer your questions for you. :)
