I cannot read my child's letter. I don't think it is in English.  I want to respond but really have no idea what she wrote.

Hi Marie! I am so sorry that this letter was not translated into English for you :(. It looks like French to me, which is the language that Kadidja most likely speaks in Burkina Faso. I am sending an inquiry to our country office there to have this letter translated and placed back on your account when it is done. It can take up to six- eight weeks for us to receive the reply back from inquiries, but I am hoping that it goes much faster for you since it is just the translation that we need!

I hope this isn't too forward, but I would feel so impatient with a letter I couldn't read. I can't see every word, but this is the gist until you get the rest!

"Friends, I greet you in the good and precious name of Jesus Christ. I am doing well and I hope you are also doing well in Christ who strengthens us. My favourite verse is Proverbes 12:1 [quotes verse in French]. I love the story of Joseph, he was obedient, [can't see] worker and prayer. Dear [can't see], do you have a dog? Pray for my intelligence. Be blessed. [Child's name]"

I forgot the part that said "I would like to be like Joseph." That's it, I'm fired!
