On the 1st of the month I saw a notification that a "glitch" in the system would prevent monetary gifts to my child and his family from being posted to my account until Feb 3rd. It's now 2-10-17 and still no documentation of my $230 USD. I'd really like to see an acknowledgment of its receipt. Thank you.

Hi Mark! I am very sorry that you have waited so long for acknowledgement. I am trying to research this for you and what went wrong. When did you originally make the donation for this very generous gift? Which child did you intend the gift for? I do see a $100 family gift having been sent to Thanapat on January 3, but obviously that is a different amount. Also, please keep in mind that thank you letters for gifts arrive within six months of when the gift is sent.

Hi Susan and thanks. I sent a $200 family gift and $30 to Tutor for toys on Feb. 6. I'm not holding my breath for the letters, I still haven't received a first letter from Thanapat or acknowledgment of the cash gift I sent.

I sent the funds through the same account from which my monthly sponsorship fee debited. I sponsored Tutor on 12-14-16 and Thanapat on 12-27-16. I received Tutor's introduction letter 1-30-17.

Mark, did you do these donations for the gifts online, in the mail, or via phone though? If you did them online, did you receive a confirmation email after giving the gift?

Thanks Sarah, I sent the gifts through my online account and yes, I did receive an email confirmation.

Mark, I know that, as you also mentioned, our processing continues to be behind. A donation like this would have needed to be manually processed (as opposed to the regular monthly support that is automatically withdrawn) so that may be why it is delayed by a week. Because you received the confirmation email, it must have gone through and will be processed in the next week or so.
