My "Reply" to a private Compassion email went to myself, not to the Compasson sender

I contacted Compassion through a private email, and received a prompt response. BUT I hit the "Reply" button to continue the conversation, and later discovered the email did not reply to the Compassion sender, but rather appeared in my own inbox!?! Is Compassion aware of this glitch? This would explain why sponsors complain in this forum about Compassion not responding to their concerns! And I can certainly understand why sponsors genuinely question the integrity of the organization and stop their sponsorships. It is the children who suffer. I should hope that this is just some stupid error which Compassion innocently is not aware of.

Hi Beth, this is actually not a glitch with our system. We can see your email in the queue, so it did indeed send. It's possible that you maybe hit reply all or accidentally forwarded the email to yourself. Either way, we do have your email and it will get an answer. Thank you! :)

Glad you have a copy - I sent the email a second time and that time copied and pasted the Compassion email into the "To" line.

I actually tried hitting "Reply" to the email several times just to be sure it was really being sent to my own email, and that is what it shows every time - my email in the "To" line instead of the Compassion email...when I am definitely hitting the reply button. I tried it on other emails, and the reply feature works just fine.
