My sponsored child is not appearing within the "My Account" section on Compassion's website

My family selected a child to sponsor at a Compassion Experience event over 2 months ago. His number is ET071800171.  I know the sponsorship has been processed because I received a welcome packet from Compassion with his information and my sponsor number within. However, when I login to the Compassion website, it states that I have no sponsored children, nor has my payment been processed (when signing up, I indicated that I wanted to have automatic payment deduction).  I'd be happy to make a payment now if the automatic payment was simply not processed correctly but I can't since the site states I don't have a sponsored child.  How can we correct this so that I know my payment(s) will be correctly applied to the child we selected?  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi Shannon! I am so sorry for the confusion with Abee's sponsorship. He is on your account, but the card we tried to use to pull out the first donation didn't go through for us. We can still place the child on the sponsor's account when that happens, but the child won't show up on the account as an officially sponsored child until we can process the first donation. We did send a communication to you in the mail regarding the issue, though it sounds like you may not have received it. I do see a second card on file ending in 0505 that I'd be happy to use to process the first donation and make the sponsorship active on your account. As soon as we process that first donation, Abee will show up on your online account. If that card doesn't work to use, please let me know and I'll give you further instructions.
