Need to END my sponsorship

I need to cancel my sponsorship. I was sponsoring two kids and then one of them changed and I was not notified. I am not happy with Compassion and the fact that I cannot cancel easily is annoying. I want a refund for my last month, since I have called Compassion multiple times but keep getting hung up on, and I want my sponsorship to end. I am close to disputing the charge on my card.

I am so sorry for all the confusion and frustration. I am also very sorry that you tried to contact us and were disconnected. However, I am happy to help you cancel your sponsorship. May I please confirm that you would like to cancel both children? Or would you like to keep you sponsorship of Ashton active and just cancel the new child? Please know that anytime a child leaves the program, we do place another child on hold for our sponsor to consider. We do send out notification of this child on hold with information that your child completed their time with Compassion, also letting you know that for your convenience that if you do not contact us within 5 weeks that we will add the new child to your account. However, it seems you did not receive this notification and I am very sorry for that! Please know that we will be happy to assist you in taking care of your account from here. We look forward to hearing back from you on how you would like to proceed. Thank you, Zach.

Thank you for your help. I did not receive the notification and I got very frustrated that I could not cancel the sponsorship on the website and then was hung up on multiple times. I was not happy when I posted this initial comment. I would like to continue to sponsor Aston. Thank you again for your help and I apologize for my anger. God bless
