Hello,

I've submitted my credit card details to sponsor a child on the weekend but haven't received a confirmation email or haven't heard back from you. Could you please let me know what the next steps are??

Hello Alessandra! Did you receive a confirmation email after you submitted your request to sponsor the child? Can you tell me the child's ID? That information would significantly help me figure out what is going on in your case. We just moved to a new system and have been trying to catch up on setting all the sponsorships up that were done online in the last week, so yours might be in that group.

Hello Sarah, I haven't received a confirmation email and that's why I wrote. I don't have the child's ID as she is not in the system anymore...

Hello Sarah, I've tried to sponsor another child ( Rebeca Vitoria De Andrade Godoy  BR040300727) but I had to register again to do so. When registering, it asks me for my donor number which I don't have. Could you pls help? I thought this would be an easier process...

I've just submmited te Credic card details for the sponsorship for another child ( Since the second one didn't work either) . His details are below. I hope it works this time as I haven't yet received the confirmation email.

Hi Alessandra! I do see that we have a transaction processing for you to sponsor Trevor. It is in progress right now, so I can't confirm that it has gone through successfully yet. Be sure to check your junk mail for that email as well. Sometimes they end up in that folder instead of your inbox :). Do you live in the USA or in another country?

Hi Sarah, I've just posted this on FB as well as yesterday  I couldn't access this chat..  I think this has been rather cumbersome as, although you have received the application for Trevor , I haven't received a confirmation email for him but I did for another child from Brazil. I've been trying to do this unsuccessfully for some time now so I'm giving up. Pls disregard/cancel any applications you have on my name.

Alessandra, I am so sorry for the difficulties you had in trying to sponsor a child. I think you live outside of the USA, which is possibly what is causing your sponsorships to not go through. Donations given through the USA website must be done in USD. I do hope you are able to find a way to impact a child living in poverty, whether that is through Compassion or another avenue.
