My youth group started sponsoring a child last October and we haven't received a letter from him yet. I just wanted to make sure everything was good, his number is PH7220427. The kids have sent several letters and are just waiting to hear back.

Hi Rachel. I'm just another sponsor, but I know it has taken anywhere from 2-6 months for me to get a letter after it is written. Although I am told that the transit time will become shorter in April due to a new way of processing the letters. From my experience, I have 3 kids that write regularly and 1 who does not. I think it is really great that your youth group has sponsored a child, and I really hope that he will write back. That would be so encouraging for the youth in your group!

Hi Rachel! I'm so excited that your youth group decided to change the story for a boy in our program. What a blessing this will be to him and I pray that it also blesses the kids in your church in knowing the impact they can make in another persons life through Jesus! :) Please thank them for us, because letters are so important to these children and remind them that someone believes in them, that they're treasured by Jesus, and boosts their confidence in a way that sponsorship alone cannot do. You guys are amazing!

Our records actually show that we mailed a letter to you from your boy back in December. It was an introduction letter. Did you receive this? Or did your church receive this? If this letter never reached you, we can send an inquiry to our office in the Philippines and see if they have a copy of that letter that we could send to you. But before I do this, did you check with the staff at your church to see if it was received and is possibly held somewhere or didn't make it into your hands for some reason? I know some sponsors have checked before with their Post Office and the letter was sitting there waiting for them, so you might check with them as well! Also, I see that you have an online account created with us. This is great as I want to ensure we have the correct address on file for you. When you log in to your account, on the left side of the page, select 'Account Settings.' Please verify everything is correct on your address so that we know we're sending it to the right place :). Let me know if you need help getting into your account.
