Hi!  I just received my first online letter from my girl Wilaiporn.  So exciting!  The letter is dated Apr 8, so it took just a little over a month to reach me.  :)

I just have one concern with it.  The letter appears to be acknowledging a gift I sent to her family in December.  I sent over the $60 dollar minimum, but there is no photo with the letter.  Is this something that will be mailed separately?

Hi Jamie! There should be a photo attached to this letter. I am looking at the letter now and the circle with the dot on the top indicates that it is supposed to be a thank you letter with a photo attached. It also looks like the letter got cutoff at the bottom so that is likely where the photo was. I am sending an inquiry to try to retrieve this photo for you and we will send it to you just as soon as we have it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I have also had this issue with a couple of letters from Dieudonne and Yasmina.

Hi Chris! I am sorry you didn't receive those photos from Dieudonne and Yasmina. Could you send me scans of the full letters from these two children so I can look into this situation deeper for you? You can email them to socialmedia@compassion.com.

I did not receive a picture of what Benjamin got for his gift or a picture of Deyanire gift. I sent a family gift for both of 75.00 and a birthday gift to both children of 20.00 Benjamin got a bed and Deyanire got clothes and her mother brought some other stuff.

Eleanor, I sent an inquiry regarding these very generous gifts to Benjamin and Deyanire. You are most definitely entitled to know how the gift was used and receive a photo.

I also just received an online letter from my child Angel Fredy, and I am glad to report that I could see both the side of the letter in the child's own writing and also the side with the translation and his drawing. But, there are links to 3 pages at the top, and the 2nd page is blank. Is something missing? The child makes reference to the Christmas gift. Perhaps he is referring to the joint Christmas fund that is divided among all the children, but if he is referring to the family gift there should have been a photo. So glad to see this letter only took 2 months to receive! Still, it will be very good to get the copy in the mail, as hopefully there will not be the question of anything missing with the printed letters. One more thing, why does it say there are 6 pages, when the buttons only show that there should be 3 pages?

Hi Beth! I'm looking at your letter from Angel Fredy, now. I think he is mentioning Christmas and not the separate gift you sent. You will get another thank you letter for the family gift :). There's no photo with this letter and I don't think anything is missing on your end. The extra pages that are not showing/blank, are actually blank pages on my end that are just the other side of the pages to your child's letter. Your child's letter was scanned double sided so there will be blank pages. So no worries there!
