I had a rough cross-country move recently. my card expired during the move, i lost my phone, and no longer have a job. I received a letter with an outstanding balance on it. When i went to go pay, it is not on my account, and neither are my sponsored children. I am wanting to see if the sponsorship was cancelled, and how to pay the balance. My ID is #07238186

Sam, I am deeply sorry to hear of the many hardships you have faced recently :(. It seems like multiple bad things happened one after another for you, and I'm so sorry that this has caused your sponsorships of Jeremy and Yazmin to fall behind. Please rest assured that they have still been receiving the support that they need because we do have a backup fund for when situations like this happen. Please do not worry about reimbursing Compassion unless you are able to. I am happy to place your two children along with your $14 per month commitment to the Partners of Compassion fund back on your account, but please know that I will need to process their support for the current month when I do this. Because your card expired, I am not able to process this donation, so I am not able to place them back on your account just yet. To update your card information, you may log into your My Account online and go to "Payment Options". You may also contact us at 800-336-7676. We are available to serve you Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, MST. Thank you so much for your heart to continue blessing your sweet kiddos!

Thank you for all of your help! I do not want to be an unreliable sponsor, I just wanted to make sure they were taken care of. Hopefully when I find a job I can start donating again. Thank you so much.

Hi Sam,
We completely understand. Thank you for letting us know that you will not be able to continue sponsoring at this time. I will be praying that God places some peace into your life very soon. If in the future you do feel led to sponsor with us, we would be blessed to partner with you again.
