It is July 2018.  Why did I just receive a letter from my child dated 3/17/2017?

Linda, I'm so sorry for any confusion or concern caused by receiving a letter from your kiddo that was dated over a year ago. I have looked into your letter from Alexis, and I believe that this is a mistake. The stationary for Alexis was printed out at the field office in the beginning of March of 2018, and we received it back from him on April 10, 2018. His letter was then process, translated, and uploaded onto your account within two months on June 23, 2018. It usually takes a couple of weeks for the printed copy to be mailed to you. Since Alexis' letter must have been written in March of 2018, I believe he may have accidentally written 2017 instead of 2018. I still catch myself doing that sometimes, so it's understandable that he would make this simple mistake :). If you are still concerned, you are welcome to ask him why he dated his letter that way in your reciprocal letter :). Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a blessed day!
