My church had Compassion Sunday a few weeks ago and I signed up to sponsor a child on a card with my credit card number and other information. I assume the church had to send it off, but I still have not been charged. It's been at least 3 weeks. Should I contact the company or continue waiting?

Hi Cheyenne, 
First of all, I want to welcome you to our Compassion family! We are so blessed to have you with us on this mission to help children escape poverty! Secondly, I am so sorry that it has been three weeks and you still have not seen your first contribution go through. Please know that when we do Compassion Sunday events, it is pretty typical that the church may not send us all of the packets right away, in hopes that they can get all the children sponsored and then send them all back together. Also, because Compassion Sunday is a very large event, we do see a bit of a delay in processing these new sponsorship due to the amount of new children being sponsored. Yay! :) In addition, I do want you to know that we have recently done a complete system upgrade and we are working on catching up on a little bit of backlog from that update. I would honestly wait another few weeks before having any concern. I am so sorry for the delay. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding! Please let us know if you still do not see this child on your account by mid June.
