I recently started to sponsor two preschool children. I just received an email informing me they know my name. Why isn’t a picture given to the child and family of the sponsor. At this age, it just makes sense.

You can add a picture to the letters you send, then they will have it.  I send a lot of pictures to my kids, no matter what age they are.

Ok, with my first letter, it was via CI and I saw no image attachment icon

I have heard Compassion is now sending you a email with a fill in the blanks form for a first letter. I've never received one of those to know how it works.  When you log on through a browser and choose Write your Child in the blue ribbon, you can write a letter that allows you to send attachments in JPG, GIF or PNG format. 
(I also like to send my sponsored kids a copy of any photo I receive of them, in case they don't already have a copy.)
