I recently was able to visit a sponsor child. There were some people from the project there who took some pictures. We took some of our own as well but I was curious if we could get copies of what other people may have taken.

Hey Matt! You will need to contact those people directly to request the pictures. We do not have copies. :)

Sounds good. Who are those people, and how do I contact them?

I have been on sponsor tours, not an individual visit. The people at the project are not allowed to give out contact information, because communication has to go thru compassion. You could ask your child if there are copies of the photos, because I'm sure someone from the project was taking them. If you haven't, also send copies of your photo's to your child!!! I send 8-9 per letter.
God bless

Misty, I am not looking for contact info and people from the project were taking them. That's who I'm looking to get pictures from.

Well, above you asked "how do I contact them" If they work at the project contact information can not be given, is my understanding.
God bless.

Misty is correct- we do not give out contact information for our project staff. Was it the staff taking pictures? Or other people on the tour? I'm sorry- I'm not sure which people you're referring to.

That's why I was confused. It was the staff, as far as I know. I was wondering why I was told to contact them if you don't give out info, haha.

Sorry to come back to this thread again, but I guess I just wasn't clear on the answer. Is the final answer that it's not possible for me to get extra pictures that were taken during my trip?

Hi Matt! Compassion does not give out contact info for the projects or the project staff so if it was them taking pictures there is not a way for you to contact them.
Was this an individual visit or a sponsor tour? If it was a sponsor tour you might check with the sponsors on www.ourcompassion.org to see if any others that were on your trip are on there and if they have pictures they can share with you.

It was an individual visit. We were there on a mission trip and arranged to visit our child since we were there.
Thanks for the info - it's a bummer, but I understand. So there isn't a way to contact the local office without giving out individual info? It makes sense to keep things confidential, but it seems that going through official routes could be plausible. If not, then that's that - I just like to ask questions.

No, I'm sorry we're not able to give out any contact information. :/
