Problem with compassion app

I have been having a problem with the app since I lost one of my sponsored children.  When I first open it up, I get a pop up telling me I have Missing Child Data, and it asks me if I want to load their information.  If I have it load the information, it goes through the list of my kids, but when it gets to the boy I lost, it hangs up, eventually telling me there was an error and to check my internet connection, and then it won't work anymore.  If I don't have it load the child information, it works fine, except it is then missing the two children I have added since my boy left the program.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and that did not help. 

Any ideas on what else I can do?

Hi Jamie! I am so sorry you are having such a problem with the app right now :(. Let's try this and see if it works for you: uninstall the app, clear your phone's cache, and make sure your phone's software is up to date. Restart your phone and then re-install the app. If it still gives you the same problem, please let us know so we can research the issue further for you! I'm really hoping this works for you though!

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the reply.  :)  I tried all this, but it did not work.  So I tried all of this again, but the second time I logged out of the app before I cleared the cache and deleted and reinstalled it.  That did work.  Not sure if just logging off and back on would have solved the problem.    At any rate, it is all working again!

I just updated my app on my phone and wanted to make you aware that when I click on the Inbox icon, the app closes. Thank you and God bless you all for everything that you do. Please know that I am in prayer with you all as the new system is put into place and the bugs/kinks are worked out.

Hi Chantel, did you try all the things the ladies mentioned above? I just updated the app on my iPod and the inbox tab is working fine. The latest update on iPhone requires iOS 8.0 or later. I'm not sure about Android.
