Question about India funds transfer and also about a former correspondent child

Hi!

My sponsor number is 01708679.   Back in March I requested via private email that my unused India funds be transferred to two of my sponsored children.  I understand that there is a delay, which I'm totally fine with!  However, since it has been a while, and it was requested via email, I just want to make that the request did go through and that it is in line to be processed eventually.  

Secondly, around the same time, I was notified that the financial sponsor of one of my correspondent kids (Deysi Huaman Chamaya - PE38000384) had stopped making payments, so she was taken off my account.  Again, via email I had agreed to take her on as her financial sponsor and to begin making payments for her.  It has been almost 3 months with no change and she was not added to my account, so I'm wondering if she was put back up for sponsorship or not?  I'm really just curious to know what the status is on that. And if she was put back up for sponsorship, I'm not mad about that, I would just like to know one way or the other.

Hi Anne! I'm so sorry for the longer than expected delay in taking care of your request to transfer your India funds. Please rest assured that we have sent your request to our processing team at the end of March after receiving your email. Sadly, our processing team is still taking care of requests from March, but they should be able to take care of your request very soon! 

I am deeply sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding on our part with your sweet correspondent child, Deysi. Regrettably, we did not place her on your account, but she is still unsponsored. However, she is currently at an event, so I am unable to place her on your account right now. Please know that I have placed a reservation on her though, so if she is not sponsored at the event, then she will be placed on your account when the event is over. I am waiting now to receive a response as to when this event is expected to be over. We will do our very best to have Deysi placed on your account if she does not get sponsored at this event. Thank you so much for your patience!

Thanks for the information! I think the confusion about Deysi was that I had to some way initiate the first payment.  I had emailed back and told the representative that they could charge my credit card on file, but I guess it didn't happen.

Oh no, Anne! I am so sorry for our error. Regrettably, Deysi is now on hold for church who has a partnership with the church center where Deysi attends. She will likely be sponsored. For this reason, I would recommend selecting another child to sponsor.
