I have a letter that has been in translation since 4/11/18. Normally my letters come through within 24 hours. It’s one from Welinton. Just wanted to check on that and inquire about my hard copy from my introductory letter. I got the letter on my app 2/22/18 and an email saying my hard copy would be to me within a few weeks, it has been 2 months since then and I still haven’t gotten the hard copy? Thanks so much and have a great day. I have enjoyed my letters from my 3 kiddos so much and I am excited to hear from my sweet Welinton

Hi Melissa,
It is so fun to hear the excitement in your heart! :)

I do apologize for the delay on your letter from Welinton! I do show that his letter from 4/11/18 is still being translated. I do apologize that it is not available for you quite yet, but it should be available soon! :)

Secondly, I am so sorry for the confusion on the hard copies of your letters. I see that you have selected to receive the physical original document, which means we need to send this all the way from the child's country. Typically we see that these take about 3 months to be received, versus if you were to receive just a printed copy of this letter it would only take about two weeks to get to you. I do apologize for the misunderstanding on this! If you do decide at any time you would prefer to have a copy a bit faster, please let us know and we would be happy to make that change for you!

No that is fine, I want the originals. I’m making a scrapbook for me and my kids because I’m hoping that having that will inspire them to sponsor children. Plus they’re very involved in the sponsorships through prayer and reading the incoming letters together. Thanks for the clarification. You guys are always so prompt with replies, compassion is really an A+ organization.

I thought it might take a bit, but the email said within a few weeks, so I was getting worried. We’ve had some issues with not getting mail or it being date stamped 2 weeks prior when we pull it out of the box. It took a good 2 months to get my first letter from all of my kids. Now it seems as if they’re coming faster! So exciting!
